Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in Cashwise programs and use of our website. Please read them carefully before enrolling in a program or submitting an enquiry.

1. Definitions
- "Cashwise" refers to the financial education provider operating from 18 Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur.
- "Participant" refers to any individual enrolled in or seeking to enrol in a Cashwise program.
- "Program" refers to any of the structured educational courses offered by Cashwise, including First Steps in Finance, Investment Risk Understanding, and Financial Planning for Parents.
- "Website" refers to the Cashwise website at cashwiseen.biz and any associated pages.
- "Materials" refers to any workbooks, guides, templates, worksheets, or digital resources provided as part of a program.
2. Program enrolment
Enrolment in a Cashwise program is subject to the following conditions:
- Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or an agreed payment arrangement.
- Cashwise reserves the right to limit enrolment numbers to ensure program quality. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Exceptions may be made with written parental or guardian consent.
- Cashwise reserves the right to decline an enrolment where it would not serve the best interests of the prospective participant or existing group.
- By enrolling, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
3. Fees and payment
- Program fees are as published on the Cashwise website at the time of enrolment. Current fees are: First Steps in Finance (RM 380), Investment Risk Understanding (RM 850), Financial Planning for Parents (RM 920).
- All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of all program materials unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing by Cashwise.
- Cashwise reserves the right to adjust fees for future program cohorts. Confirmed enrolments will not be subject to fee increases.
- Payment receipts will be issued by email within 3 business days of payment being received.
4. Cancellations and refunds
We understand that circumstances can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- 14 or more days before the program start date: Full refund, less a RM 30 administrative fee.
- 7–13 days before the program start date: 50% refund of the program fee.
- Less than 7 days before the program start date: No refund is available. However, participants may transfer their enrolment to a future cohort of the same program subject to availability and written request.
- After a program has commenced: No refund is available for sessions already attended. Partial refunds for remaining sessions may be considered at Cashwise's discretion in exceptional circumstances.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
5. Program changes by Cashwise
- Cashwise reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel programs where necessary. Participants will be notified as early as possible.
- If a program is cancelled by Cashwise, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future cohort.
- Session content and materials may be updated between cohorts to reflect current information and participant feedback. The overall structure and learning objectives of each program remain consistent.
- In the event of a facilitator change, Cashwise will ensure continuity of the program's educational standard.
6. Participant responsibilities
To make the most of your program experience and to maintain a respectful environment for all participants, we ask that you:
- Attend sessions punctually and notify us in advance if you are unable to attend.
- Treat facilitators and fellow participants with courtesy and respect.
- Keep shared personal information from group discussions confidential.
- Avoid sharing, reproducing, or distributing program materials outside of your own personal study without prior written permission from Cashwise.
- Acknowledge that program content is educational in nature and does not constitute personalised financial advice.
7. Intellectual property
All Cashwise programs, materials, course content, and website content are the intellectual property of Cashwise or its licensors. This includes:
- Written materials, workbooks, templates, and calculators provided as part of programs.
- Session frameworks, curriculum structures, and facilitation methodologies.
- Website design, copy, and graphics.
Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for their own private study. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without prior written consent is not permitted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- Cashwise provides programs and materials on an educational basis only. We are not responsible for any financial decisions made by participants as a result of attending a program.
- Cashwise's liability for any claim arising from program participation shall not exceed the total fees paid by the participant for that program.
- Cashwise is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from participation in programs or use of the website.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by negligence.
9. Website use
- The Cashwise website is provided for information purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and current but do not warrant its completeness.
- The website may contain links to third-party sites. Cashwise is not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
- You agree not to use the website in a way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive to others.
10. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. We would always prefer to resolve any concerns directly and informally — please contact us in the first instance.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your enrolment applies to that program. Updated terms will be published on the website with a revised date.
